This hotel is an absolute gem tucked away in the Hutongs. It is the perfect balance of historical and modern - beautiful history but with updated features. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful with anything I needed. My room included a free afternoon tea with live music which was absolutely lovely. Don’t think twice, stay here!

For reference, we are a family of 4, 2 adults, 2 children, our average height is 5 ft 2 inch. The metro station is a good 10 mins walk from the hotel, around 1500-1800 steps on our usual stride :). Nearest station Exit F of Zhushikou station along Line 7 and 8. Access to these lines made our travel to famous spots in Beijing really easy. The hotel staff speaks very little English, not to worry, WeChat is the key. We sent all our inquiries and requests via WeChat since it has a translation option in the app. And we were answered very quickly. Our room is very spacious. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Very near the hotel is a local convenience store where we get all necessities and snacks, including instant noodles. Beside it is a small take-out fried chicken 🍗 shop, which is a life saver for us, our go to meal . The guy selling the fried dishes is very friendly. He even gave the children fried mushrooms for snacks. Overall, i highly recommend this hotel. Great value for money. BONUS: FREE use of laundry washer and dryer.
