We stayed in an enormous ground floor apartment The view from the patio doors looking across the Basin (like an enormous lake) was magical. The apartment had everything we could possibly need. Scott & Lisa were very generous hosts, asking us, prior to our arrival, whether we would like bacon & eggs or a continental breakfast. We also had milk, bread, cereal, tomatoes, fruit, jam, etc. The bed was very comfortable. They had also offered, free of charge, the use of their kayaks/life vests. We ate at the Country Club, where the choice of food was large and a very quick walk from the apartment. The walks along the water's edge were a lovely way to relax. We saw kangaroos, a bandicoot and many parrots and birds. The most spectacular sunset completed our memorable stay. We would definitely return if we travelled this way in the future. The friendliness of staff was an amazing. They wanted us to to enjoy the whole experience and nothing too much trouble.
