Set in a historic building that was completely renovated in 2015, Hotel Krone Speicher is a 4-star hotel in the centre of Speicher in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. St. TOP BREAKFAST WITH AN UNMATCHABLE MUESLI.ROOM VERY NICE AND THE PARFUME IN THE HOTEL, DUE TO THE WOOD ON THE WALLS, SO GOOD. A PLACE WERE STAY AND RELAX.

Breakfast was great! My room was truly lovely, large and well-appointed, with a great view and a very comfortable bed. I slept very well and enjoyed my stay immensely. The location is spectacular, right on the lake, five minutes from the promenade and everything wonderful about Uberlingen, a magical lake town. I'm so glad I chose this hotel as a home base for a late summer week on Lake Constance.

This is a great place! Beautiful location, and the staff takes excellent care of it. Clean modern rooms with nice views. The restaurant offers several options for dinner and all of excellent taste. Local products are used. Great advice from the sommeliere for Austrian wines. Excellent breakfast. Huge spa area, swimming pool and garden. Hiking, biking, sightseeing - lots of options nearby. Staff is polite, friendly and well-trained.

The lady running the place was very friendly and helpful. The service at breakfast was some the best service i have experinced in Germany and the room was great value for money and very comfortable.
