Lujia Village is only 2 kilometers from the center of Guilin. It is one of the first 16 famous villages in Guangxi. They are also known for making tofu. 2) The hotel staff always went over and beyond for us. They helped us book our tour tickets, get a taxi where ever we were, prepared food that we want, and even did online shopping for us. They made the impossible possible for us especially when they were able to find the shirt that my son has been looking for. 3) We didn’t have to travel outside the village to find home-cooked dinner meal , especially after a day of sightseeing! Just about 3 minutes walk from the hotel is our favorite family restaurant. We ate there every night. 4) The inside of the hotel is newly renovated. It gave a vibe of simplicity and functional. I like that they have bathtubs in the rooms that we got. We even had access to the rooftop! 5) Their breakfast is so customizable! They always ask us what if we have any requests the day before breakfast. I personally enjoyed the Guilin Rice Noodles. What an incredible first experience in China!

The property also provides a shared kitchen, tea class, cooking class, calligraphy class and Zen experience. Everything! Especially the hospitality and kindness of Maria and her staff. It was like staying by a friend. We came late in the afternoon without having any bought tickets for the sightseeings (rice fields, Li cruise river) and she has arranged all for us. We would pay double via trip.com or klook. Also the next day when we have returned exhausted from the day trip, she prepared us tea, cookies and fruits. Amazing. The breakfast was delicious. The room, especially the bed very comfortable. I slept like a baby. I am very thankful to her and her team that she made our stay so great.

We loved the all of the plants, the views, the ease of renting e bikes and free bicycles available too. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast is delicious as well.

I liked everything about the property- the view, the location, the room, the space for relaxing drinking tea from the room with an excellent panorama over the lake, the help from the personal, all contributed to an amazing staying.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had a relaxing natural wood vibe. The staff were also very helpful and personable, providing a full set of recommendations on what to do and where to go during our stay in Guilin. They also helped us coordinate a drive from the west railway station. I also had a great conversation with who I think was the owner about tea on the morning we left. There's also a rooftop terrace that became my favorite spot to welcome in the morning and close out the evening!

We had a lovely breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly, especially Jason, who was incredibly helpful (and speaks excellent English!)
