Excellent , friendly helpful staff, lovely location with views over lake Toba.

This is an amazing place to stay!!! You stay in old authentic Batak houses with a balcony right next to the water. The view is superb and you can jump into the water right outside of your door. Location wise this was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was also very nice.

Wonderful cottage on the lakeside with a beautiful open view of the water. As it has only just opened before covid, everything is still almost new. Both the family room with 2 King-sized beds and the bathroom were very spacious. The construction and the furniture are of nice quality. The owner is a very nice and helpful person, who speaks a very good english. On an island that has known its glory days, and where most hotels haven't been renovated in a long time, this cottage is an excellent yet affordable choice.

Very friendly staff, who helps you with all your questions. They speak English well. It is clean and very good price/quality. Location is also nice. It is at the lake, so you can easily take a swim.

The location is excellent. The rooms themselves very spacious, modern, and comfortable with nice touches from Pino, the owner. Breakfast was always good and Pino had plenty of suggestions of things to do each day at good rates.
