The hotel is well located in a peaceful and quiet surrounding, away from urban areas, with ample parking. It was for us the ideal place to arrive on Friday evening and do daytrips to Schokland and the wider area on the following weekend days. The forest next to the hotel, with its interesting history (engineering models for waterworks,...) was a welcome and surprising plus. Even on a rainy Sunday, we enjoyed a long walk there on the concrete paths. Everything felt brand new (and was brand new in fact). The breakfast was great, and also the DuCo restaurant offers great diner options, which we gladly used. Comfort of the roomy hotelrooms is high level, and the choice of colours in the rooms and hotel creates a relaxing atmosphere. Also to be mentioned of course is the very friendly and professional staff who make the picture perfect! Thank you!

Van der Valk Hotel Lelystad er staðsett í Lelystad og Dinnershow Pandora er í innan við 46 km fjarlægð. Unexpectedly, this was one of my best stays in a hotel ever. The hotel is stylish, modern, extremely comfortable, and has amazing facilities (including a self-service 24h shop). The staff is friendly and professional. The views from the hotel are wonderful - especially from the bar on the 16th floor. Even the smell (perfume?) in the beautiful corridors is great. Also, breakfast was delicious. In short, I went there for 1 work-related night, but I will definitely return for a holiday stay!
