Biosphere is the perfect name, as we enjoyed the neat lizards, the monkeys playing in the courtyard, and birds visiting. We loved the breakfast and asked for a new local dish each night - the best was the “Swahili corner” for 2.
The theme to this place was “pole pole” or “gentle/careful/slow”. We learned to plan around things taking a little time, which is great - we are on vacation. It is simple and staff are friendly, with a low price to match the rural setting ;)
Be aware: The hotel is adjacent to the national park but does not include the entry ticket. You must go to the park reception and get an entry ticket/trail guide. The trails are incredibly confusing so this is a good rule!
