Thoughtfully planned. So welcoming. Everyone was just sincerely kind and caring. Absolutely outstanding. Great value for money. Everyone from Magdy to all the staff and our Safari guide Alex were super people. Thanks for being so accommodating and showing me and my partner an experience we will never forget.

Everything was really good here!. Food was very tasty all 3 days, service was excellent, facilities pretty clean and well maintained, location is just by the entry gate, swimming pool available and clean, animals around (monkeys, crocodile in the river, even a hippo passed by the camp!). Additionally, a friend of mine needed to come a day later than booked and the bill was adapted accordingly...really outstanding behaviour!!

Sitting on a shady raised platform facing the Talek river, each luxury tent covers approximately 26sqm and is fitted with a queen size bed or 2 twin beds. Many many thanks to all at the Mara Intrepids Camp for your outstanding hospitality 👏 and for the surprise cake 🎂for our third stay. After ten safari holidays in Kenya, Tanzania, and Botswana, we can truly say your camp is the most exceptional. Authentic yet luxurious, with an unforgettable African atmosphere. We enjoyed every minute! And: Special thanks to our driver Raphael! The best safariguide we could wish for, for twelve unforgettable game drives with incredible wildlife adventures. This tent's special feature is the fireplace. The tent provides a tea and coffee maker, a seating area, a balcony with garden views as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. We had a really nice stay at Veilscamp. Not only Masai Mara by itself, even Veilscamp was the highlight of our whole Kenya-Trip. The food was amazing, we had 3 courses Menues, a tent all by ourselves and especially the staff was soo good. Peter stayed in contact with us even before we have arrived to get sure we get fresh lunch, Vivienne and Steve were all the time so kind and treated us so well. Thanks to all of you for making the stay unforgettable to us.

Super location with tents spaced out between private winding paths on a hill with a view. Dining area with fireplace and washroom. Tents with washroom also. Great dinner was an added bonus. This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.

The fireplace is a top feature of this tent. The well-equipped kitchenette has a stovetop, a refrigerator and kitchenware. Loved the hospitality.... the serenity.... the food....the atmosphere... The staff from the reception ( Kennedy and Lin) , the chef and his staff, the helpers(Jacky) and the other ladies and also the security were amazing

Small (3 tents, one of which is a large family tent), intimate, charming camp, unfenced, ideally located, in the north conservancy, just 5 minutes from the Maasai Mara’s Musiara gate entrance, 15 minutes from the air strip. Completely local ownership and management, which we highly value and one of the reasons we chose this, together with the location and the small size. We had tent 3, high on stilts, large, private, wooden floors, huge netted windows, outside deck all around, unobstructed views on the savannah. Big comfortable bed with good mattress, en-suite bathroom with toilet and huge shower, running water. Electricity and hot water are solar - electricity is around the clock, so maybe the camp tops it up at night with a generator, but we never heard one. Large, charming traditional mess tent, with bar area, and extra lounge, wonderful outdoor deck with fire pit, small plunge pool with deck chairs. Food was excellent, they will apparently cater to dietary needs but have a fixed menu. Most meals in the mess tent, some scenically set in the bush. All drinks were included as was daily laundry. Highly knowledgeable and dedicated guides (William the owner, and Alex), game drives were mostly inside the park and arranged as and when we wished, with picnic breakfast and/or lunch, or not, as we wished. Park fees were included which made the offer we got superb value for money. We had been on safari several times almost 4 decades ago when luxury safaris were mobile or semi-permanent tented camps, small, unfenced, only with simple drop toilets and hot bucket showers, communication only via radio, bush cooking, communal mess tent and fire pit… but with an abundance of local staff delivering perfect, exclusive service. That’s the feeling we were looking for again and this is the closest we found on our trip to Kenya: very similar traditional, exclusive safari feeling , experience and charm, with great service, modern comforts, but no excesses and low imprint.

I dont know where to start, staff is amazing, place is amazing, locationc is perfect, ask for Alex as your guide he is the best we've ever seen mad your experience 100 times better and knew each and every tree in the jungle,this place is situated in the jungle not the sahra, so your experience with the conservatory is different and you are literally right with the animals and gives you a full on experience with the wild. We saw all the animals in our 5 days stay. The food they serve is one of the best ever, fresh, and wonderful, everyday something new.
