The bonfire in the evening was really nice too. But the best thing about this place is the staff, everyone is so friendly and our game driver was really good as well, the best we had during our time i Maasai Mara Reserve (we had 4 different drivers). The food was good too.

I would highly recommend Talek Bush camp to any of my family and friends. We are a family of 5 and were initially cautious about booking such a big holiday independeptly without a tour operator. We were beyond fortunate to come across the highly regarded and recommended Talek Bush Camp. From the moment of our initial enquiry and correspondence with Abdul we could look forward to our trip without hesitation. He was personally available to answer queries in a very timely manner, and assured us he would organise all our game drives to suit our needs. On arrival we received the warmest of welcomes from the whole team who worked tirelessly to ensure a very comfortable and enjoyable stay for all. The camp itself is very well maintained and offers a most relaxed yet safe vibe. The food was delicious and offered a mix of local, Egyptian and European options. All our dietary requirements including coeliac were met. Each morning we took a fabulous homemade breakfast picnic on safarai . Our driver and guide were exceptional with excellent local knowledge of the park and of all the families of animals within it. The camp is located at the gate of the reserve so we arrived within minutes and well ahead of the early morning sunrise. Our accomadation was most pleaseant, we stayed in a luxury tent overlooking the river, and woke in the morning to the sound of Hippos splashing! Our sons had 2 bedrooms in a lodge.The beds were very comfortable with excellent mosquito nets. Security was never an issue and we never felt a need to lock the rooms. Laundry service was available and very much aprreciated. Overall the experience was immersive and authentic, great value for money and we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Abdul and his team!

Sitting on a shady raised platform facing the Talek river, each luxury tent covers approximately 26sqm and is fitted with a queen size bed or 2 twin beds. After ten safari holidays in Kenya, Tanzania, and Botswana, we can truly say your camp is the most exceptional. Authentic yet luxurious, with an unforgettable African atmosphere. Super location with tents spaced out between private winding paths on a hill with a view. Dining area with fireplace and washroom. Tents with washroom also. Great dinner was an added bonus. This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.

The fireplace is a top feature of this tent. The well-equipped kitchenette has a stovetop, a refrigerator and kitchenware. Kobe Mara was an amazing find from all the places to stay! From the very first email with Lea to Sammy and the team at the camp including our game drive guides, which we booked directly via Kobe Mara - again, a huge ASANTE SANA for making our Masaai Mara trip so memorable! The place is just utterly beautiful! Seeing a zebra, and giraffes right from our tent was such a wondrous experience. All the details of the tent were highly appreciated as well! It felt like being in a movie… Furthermore, the food - especially the fish on a bed of spinach cream and side of mash… It all tasted like “coming home”. You do have your own kitchen too if you prefer. The team on site are always there to help if anything. Easily one of our top favourite stays ever - Highly recommended! <3

The property was very much as you see in the pictures.. very clean and very polite staff. Our tent kaboso was cozy and comfortable. Best thing is that the property is right next to the gates of mara and we had game drive with the camp itself so it was convenient and we saw so many animals with our guide sam. Even the food was delicious. Will definitely visit again
