The bathroom is clean, the staff clean the beach every day. Although I come from Vietnam, the Spanish food is delicious for me. If you have small luggage this is fun to take a short trekking through jungle.

The location (sunset beach) was perfect for a relaxation, everyone (incl other places on this side of the island) were so friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the 15-20min trek through the jungle to get to sunset beach. We were pretty active so would only sleep in the tent and for that it does the job just fine.

The communal bathroom includes cold shower facilities, while electricity is available at the charging station in the restaurant. The accommodation blends into the beautiful natural jungle and beach landscape and feels perfect for the setting. Be advised that it is a bit rustic but there's a shower and a flushing toilet and our bed was really comfortable. There are no plug points in the room but you can charge your devices in the dining area. A mosquito net is provided which was great as it meant we could leave the windows open for a cooling sea breeze at night. We were a stone's throw from the water but also surrounded by trees, it was magical. The staff were helpful and friendly but unobtrusive. The food is traditional Khmer cuisine and everything we had was delicious and made with a lot of care. There are also a few other resorts in the bay that serve different food styles. Sunset Beach is more remote than some of the other bays on the island and does not have a ferry port or really much other boat traffic making it perfect for swimming, paddling and snorkeling. This does mean that you have to hike in to the accommodation but it's completely manageable, just be sure to pack in a backpack rather than a suitcase or kit bag. All the pertinent information and directions are sent out in an email as soon as you book. This stands out as one of our best beach holidays, highly recommended.

M’Pai Bay Beach is a few steps from the luxury tent. Best place to stay in M’pai Bay! Nice, spacious, clean tent. Just a 3 min walk from the beachfront and you get the best views and sunsets (also the best margaritas in town!). Scott is such a wonderful host. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Set in Koh Rong Island, 200 metres from Koh Toch Beach, Sweet Jungle Camping offers a restaurant, mountain views and free WiFi. The property features garden and quiet street views. Outdoor seating is also available at the luxury tent. Really friendly and attentive staff! We stayed in the tents, they were actually very comfortable and the fan is great (really no AC needed). The bathroom is clean, no hot water but it’s so hot during the day time we didn’t really felt like taking a hot shower anyway. We had some trouble with our ferry between islands due to the sea being rough but the staff were so so sweet and so helpful and he was able to sort us out! One of the most genuine and helpful people we met in Cambodia!
