The fresh seafood was particularly spectacular, and we loved the variety of flavors and ingredients that were used. Dining at the hotel was truly an experience in itself. The rooms are beautifully designed with comfort and style in mind. Whether you’re staying in the cozy beachfront chalets or the stylishly modern rooms, you’ll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The open-air feel, combined with excellent amenities, made for an incredibly peaceful and relaxing environment. The sea breeze and sounds of the waves just outside my window created the ideal atmosphere for unwinding after a day of adventure. We had the pleasure of going on a boat ride to experience dolphin watching, and it was absolutely magical! The boat ride itself was scenic and peaceful, and seeing the playful dolphins in their natural habitat was an experience we’ll never forget.

With lake views, Nirvaan Safari Lodge is situated in Wilpattu and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. Wow, there are no words for this place. The host Ranil has created an oasis near Wilpattu NP focused on sustainability and responsible tourism. There are only two guest houses and the open hall for gathering and eating. The ambience is very calm and peaceful. But it also feels adventurous sleeping in the tents, knowing that elephants might came to sneak around the neighbouring fields. (We always felt super save because of the locals manning the watch platform during the night and the electro fence). We watched dozens of fire flys and the full moon from our open bathroom area a night. When we arrived on the main road we were picked up by a safari guide whom we booked a full day tour with the next day. Highly recommend that as well. In the evening we talked to Ranil a lot about his projects as a biologist in the park and he gave us a lot of insight into Sri Lanka. Of course my boyfriend loved the dog Kylie. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka we have to come back here.

Situated in Achchamulai, Wilpattu Green Cabin features accommodation with seating area. The property has lake and river views. There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Everyone was super nice. It was quiet and they accommodated all my wishes. I wanted to extend for two more days and it was no problem at all. The safari that I booked through them was amazing and the transfer that they organized was perfect. Happy to go back Thanks so much 😊

I loved the location, the staff and I ve never slept in a tent so comfortable!:):) They also organised the safari for us!

And your mothers cooking was awesome. I still buy the kurd and treacle. Fantastic chilled place to stay and totally relax. Very authentic and beautiful gardens. Great bungalow type rooms with terrace and lovely shower . Loved the outdoor gym. Cant recommend this place enough. Loved it.
