We were welcomed by dates, coffee, fruits. We ordered a dinner, which was really delicious and rich. Also, the breakfast was a traditional arab pancake, absolutely tasty. You need a 4 WD car to get to the camp, but the host can pick you up at a designated location.

If you want an authentic experience, then this Camp is a really good choise. Well located between the dunes, quiet and not so big - 7 tents. Beautifully decorated. Good Omani food for both evening and morning. Camel ride at sunrise was absolutely fantastic -20omr Per Person for 1 hour. Said and his brother made us all feel extremely welcome, they were very attentive. They provided good entertainment and good conversation. You sense that the desert means something to them. The luxury tent has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. We had an amazing night here, the camp is further out than the others which gives it a private and exclusive feeling. One of the most beautiful sunsets ever, good buffet dinner & breakfast & fire at night with the stars above was a highlight! Bathrooms are clean, just a bit smelly, I guess that is not to be avoided in a place so secluded! Bed and tent were spacious and comfortable.

Sultan picked us up from the meet point and took us to the camp and we were welcomed with a campfire and fresh tea and coffee! The tents were vary spacious, clean and cosy, and the bathroom facilities clean. The next morning we walked to the sand dunes and the children did sand boarding. Sultan especially and the camp staff ensured our stay was comfortable and we highly enjoyed our stay in the desert!
