It was incredible. We saw the Big 5 on multiple drives. Our guide, Sidney, was amazing. He made such an effort to find animals and listening to his stories and bush knowledge was a treat. Being an all inclusive, everything is taken care of for you (including two game drives each day) and the schedule is the same each day which is nice. All meals were excellent, and the pool is a great spot to enjoy a beer, cool off, and watch animals come and go. The staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help and take care of you. We stayed in one of the tents, and would highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our time at Little Africa and would have stayed much longer if we could have! The small size of the lodge meant the setting felt very intimate and personalised, and we found each of the staff members a pleasure to deal with. The drivers and tracker for the game drives were engaging and get you amazingly close to the wildlife- we were able to see all of the big 5 within the first 3 drives. The food also deserves a special mention- was home prepared according to personal preference and was delicious!

There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

Everything. The staff was lovely. The view is phenomenal. The cuisine is really good, and if you have food restrictions the chef adapts around. The game drive were great, the rangers really know their stuff, and the area. It is all respectful of the nature and of the animals. You have blankets for every drive. Thé chalet was cosy. When we arrived it was my wife’s birthday, and they had prepared the room with flowers and a bottle of sparkling wine. And for dîner we had an other bottle, and the chef baked a whole birthday cake for her. So sweet. We saw a lot of animals, lions and their cubs, elephants and babies, rhinos, giraffes, wild cat, impalas, and so many others. The rangers are really knowledgeable, they can answer all your questions. I really recommend.

The tents have an private bathroom, a kitchenette and tradtional lapa area. Unfortunately we got stuck in poor weather and didn't make it to the lodge for our stay but they were so kind to reach out and make sure we were safe, and offered any help we needed that i still wanted to leave a good review. Will make sure to make it here next time around.
