This lakefront hotel is a 2-minute walk from the pier in Varenna. The historic 19th-century building features a terrace with panoramic views of Lake Como. The village, the location and the hotel itself are all top notch. But the hospitality and warmth of the stuff is above and beyond! Thank you, Martina! You'd feel at home right away. Like a place you've been returning to for many years (it was my first visit). The room was very large, clean and fully equipped. The view from the Balcony – exceptional. Free parking for guests – right behind the hotel. Breakfast was just I needed. Not a huge choice but more than enough.

Parking is possible in the street, a bus stop is right next to the house. Our room was very clean with a balcony, big bathroom and air condition. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice with lots of homemade things.

There’s a good restaurant across the street as well as a place to pick up a takeout pizza or snack. We loved our stay here and would use it again in a heartbeat.

Best hotel/B&B stay I’ve ever had. The property is absolutely stunning and just beautiful. The room is eclectic and well designed. The stay are kind and warm and make the stay feel extremely personal. The hosts were super accommodating and helped me figure out transportation to them and were constantly in contact helping me out. Breakfast was also delicious, they prepared whatever I wanted and in general it just felt like staying with close family friends. I had to leave after only one night and the owners so kindly drove me down the mountain to the city and even asked a local hotel to hold my luggage while I explored the city before departing.
