Himawari er staðsett í Minami Aso, 36 km frá Suizenji-garði og 39 km frá Kumamoto-kastala. Boðið er upp á garð og útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu. Mr Kawasaki was really the highlight of the stay. Exceptionally friendly, helpful, accommodating, and full of travel tips. The warmth of the place came solely from him and I cannot recommend this place enough.

Hotel Yumeshizuku er staðsett í Minami Aso á Kumamoto-svæðinu, 10 km frá Naka-dake og státar af hverabaði og gufubaði. Öll herbergin á hótelinu eru með loftkælingu og flatskjá. Worth the trip, and you can communicate in English.

Boasting hot spring baths surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shinwaen provides charming Japanese-style accommodation, and lavish meals are served in guest rooms. Such a friendly owner. I have arrived earlier than planned, around 5 pm and she asked me if l want to have dinner and even prepared delicious kaiseki courses and breakfast the next day. I have never experienced such a flexibility before! The interior is beautiful and the bath in a stunning setting!

金春 -in KONPAL Penthouse-, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in Kikuyo, 5 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, 13 km from Suizenji Park, as well as 14 km from Kumamoto Castle. Very spacious penthouse apartment that has access to rooftop terrace with street and Mt Aso view. We enjoyed going up the rooftop terrace to just chill, read a book, have a drink and enjoy the Kumamoto weather. Deck chairs, chairs and table provided too. Heating, ventilation and lighting is sufficient for comfort in all seasons. The place is tastefully decorated and super well equipped kitchen like a good quality home. The bar counter with bar stools and large dining table are great for hosting a get together. There are board games, big TV, a set of golf clubs and putting mat for use. Many cans of beer were provided in the fridge for our consumption. Bathroom is big and the bathtub fitted 2 persons very comfortably. We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Host was helpful and precise with instructions that made check-in very smooth. Definitely a Value-for-money place which we will return to!

Rental villa Gontaya er gististaður með verönd í Takamori, 50 km frá Kumamoto-kastala, 25 km frá Mount Aso og 39 km frá KK Wings. Gontaya was such a lovely stay. The cabin is cozy, well-equipped, and thoughtfully set in a scenic, peaceful area — the kind of place you genuinely don’t mind staying in and slowing down. Everything was comfortable and well maintained, making it easy to settle in and relax. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. A fun bonus was getting to meet Gonta, the villa’s celebrity dog — absolutely charming and a great touch to the experience. It’s a quiet neighbourhood, so having a car is recommended, as public transport access may be limited. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing getaway that we truly enjoyed.

Amakusa Tenku No Fune er staðsett í Kami Amakusa á Kumamoto-svæðinu og býður upp á gistingu með ókeypis einkabílastæði og aðgang að jarðvarmabaði. Room was spacious and had picturesque views across the inlet. Private Onsen was excellent. Restaurant setting took advantage of the location, staff were professional and attentive.

Bettei Soan er staðsett í Minami Aso, 10 km frá Naka-dake. Ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði á staðnum. Öll herbergin á þessu ryokan-hóteli eru með loftkælingu og flatskjá með gervihnattarásum. From even before we arrived, everyone we spoke with from the ryokan was incredibly helpful and accommodating. When we arrived, it was such a welcoming check in and very thorough. Our room was beyond what we expected, perfectly clean, much larger, great views, we couldn't ask for anything more. Our dinner and breakfast was beautiful and delicious, and the staff even helped me get a cake and local sake for my husband's birthday as a surprise! The onsen itself was perfect and so easy to operate. The location offered so much too that we loved exploring Mt. Aso and other local sites before we arrived. We wish we could've stayed even longer.

&and COMFY HOTEL Kumamoto Jo View er staðsett í Kumamoto, í innan við 3,7 km fjarlægð frá Suizenji-garði og 11 km frá Egao Kenko Kumamoto-leikvanginum. The staff that welcomed us were really nice! They even put our luggages in the room for us when it was ready to check in. The room was comfortable, we got free drink each day. The view of the castle from the room and the rooftop was amazing. They even have 2 papers with maps and recommendations of restaurants.

Tsukasa Royal Hotel býður upp á gufubað og ókeypis einkabílastæði og er í innan við 20 km fjarlægð frá Hirayama-jarðvarmabaðinu og 25 km frá Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei. Parking. Onsen is clean and huge. Has sauna and cold bath. Tattoo is ok even though it says not ok. Most of the people at onsen has tattoo. Family friendly. Do not avail their breakfast buffet. Same price for kids and adults 2750 yen. Needs reservation. We reserved at 0800. Arrived at 0805 by 0835, food is gone. They’re putting away the food to get ready for lunch buffet. Not so much selections. The front desk does not speak english and will avoid talking to you. He does not entertain questions. The one helping to carry our bags speaks english and answers all our questions.
