We loved everything about our stay! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and spacious enough for our family of 5. The tub on the porch was amazing. Grilling out on our front porch was very fun and the heaters made it nice and warm even in winter. We enjoyed morning yoga, fire pit s'mores and the free drinks and mocktails from the garden kitchen. There is an incredible park within walking distance. So much fun!

Himawari er staðsett í Minami Aso, 36 km frá Suizenji-garði og 39 km frá Kumamoto-kastala. Boðið er upp á garð og útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu. This is would be the only place i will stay when i come back on summer!!

Akarinoyado Togetsu er staðsett í Beppu á Oita-svæðinu, skammt frá Yama Jigoku og Beppu. Boðið er upp á gistirými með ókeypis einkabílastæði og aðgangi að gufubaði. The hotel is just 5 mins walk to the hells of beppu attraction. The buffet (dinner and breakfast) were fantastic. Love the beef steak and the buffet spread. Services by the restaurant crew was fantastic too! The rooms were spacious and the layout was well thought out. The best experience was this particular counter staff. I forgot to note down his name but I really would like to compliment his good service! He was so helpful in giving us the direction to the bus stop and bus time schedule. He personally walked us out of the hotel premise to show us where the location of bus stop. He is what I called service beyond expectation!!

Boasting an open-air bath, garden and views of mountain, Ikkoten is situated in Yufu, 50 km from Crasus Dome Oita. This ryokan offers free private parking and full-day security. Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very original architecture and interior designs.

SEKIYA RESORT Terrace Midoubaru is located a 15-minute drive from JR Beppu Station and boasts guestrooms with a semi open-air bath. Guests can soak in the hot spring bath. Beautifully located a bit outside of Beppu. It is far, so remember to book dinner at the hotel in advance. You can reach the Beppu roapway quite easily by local bus though (suica card works btw). The dinner (wagyu meal set) and breakfast were excellent and the chef very accommodating as my friend is a pescetarian and does not eat meat, so he prepared a dinner and breakfast with no meat just for her. The rooms are very nice, spacious and clean with a great view over Beppu and the bay. We slept very well on the tatami style mattress and the open air bathroom with access to the hot springs water was so relaxing and nice. 100% recommend!
