Nagtatampok ng mga tanawin ng bundok, ang Himawari sa Minami Aso ay nagtatampok ng accommodation, hardin, shared lounge, at terrace. The owner was so welcoming. Facility was well decorated and super clean. We got upgraded to a better room, which had view of Mt Aso. Bed was comfortable. Hotel looks better than the photos.

The dinner and breakfast both exceeded our expectations as did all staff we encountered. Appreciated the shuttle back to the station after we checked out.

SEKIYA RESORT Terrace Midoubaru is located a 15-minute drive from JR Beppu Station and boasts guestrooms with a semi open-air bath. Guests can soak in the hot spring bath. It was beautiful, had a great overlook of the city. Nice, relaxing onsen in our own private bathroom, perfect few days to relax after 2 weeks of running around Japan.
