It is tucked away in the middle of the forest like something out of a fairytale. The facilities are perfect. It's clean, always warm (you dont even need to warm up in the sauna as the underfloor heating is so effective!), and is nice blend of modern and rustic. There are some lovely walks in the area and it is only an hour's drive from Riga.

The place is also a ski “resort” in the winter. Breakfast is amazing! It is next door to Gauja National Park.
