The host was very welcoming. The apartment was clean, tastefully decored. No complaints from the kids. All in all a really really good value for money.

Built in 2013, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant, free Wi-Fi and naturally furnished rooms with a tiled bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Läckö castle is 300 metres away. Beautiful location. Wonderful dinner and breakfast.

Good value for money. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. A nice yard with many fruit plants and toys to have fun with. We were free to pick some berries and apples. A little bit drive about one and half hour to almost all popular sites on the west coast, but considering the price and difficulties finding accommodations on west coast during peak season, it is surely a good choice. We travel as a family of 4 adults and 1 kid. The rooms are very well prepared with 4 single beds and surprisingly an extra folding bed which isn't shown on the room pictures. So none of us need to share a bed. Beds are very comfortable for a good sleep. Definitely come back again.

Situated by the Klarälven river, this eco-friendly hotel is 200 metres from Karlstad’s main street, Kungsgatan. Wi-Fi, gym, sauna and bike access is free. It was clean, quiet zone, very good breakfast 😊

In Lidköping, on the southern shores of Lake Vänern, is Hotell Rådhuset, offering rooms with views to the towns idyllic main square. The cozy, friendly, helpful, accommodating hotel is right in the center of the small, charming, peaceful town of Lidkoping. We were permitted to check in early, which was very convenient. Our room's large windows looked out on the very large town square. Breakfast was very good, the machine coffee better than other hotels. Complimentary hot drinks, pastries and small sandwiches are available all day. The staff was kind and helpful and we were very pleased with our stay

Dating back to the 14th century, Ronnum Herrgård is housed in a manor at the southern point of Lake Vänern. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a flat-screen TV. The staffs were very friendly, room was clean, everything was functional. Breakfast was wonderful. Nice location, walkable to city center and shore.
