Lovely atmosphere here! Only stayed for 2 nights having not enjoyed or been able to sleep in another hostel. The 4 bed dorm was perfect and comfortable with good storage. A good kitchen with lots of herbs and spices and oil to use (which is always a pleasant surprise). The pool was great too!

The room was very comfortable and clean. There was hot water in the bathroom and enough blankets to keep us warm at night. San Pedro is small, so the hostal was close enough to everything. Our bus to calama would leave later than the check out time, so we were allowed to leave our luggage in custody for a fair fee.

Extremely clean, very quiet and comfortable, nice breakfast (everything really fresh and tasty), nice owner, altogether a great place to stay. Beautiful white linen and towels. Cheap local restaurant next door. We loved the place.

The location is excellent and very close the main city center of San pedro. The hostess was very kind and welcomed us. She even provided a bagged breakfast since our tours were early in the morning. We felt safe in the compound. The view of mountain is amazing. Hostess even kept her break fast area open for us earlier than break fast start time. She was so accommodating and we really enjoyed our stay in San pedro

La Casa de José was everything we were looking for; it was like being at home. From the staff, every single one of them, super attentive and helpful. The facilities are very cozy after a day of activities or just to enjoy, and they have a rooftop where you can enjoy the starry sky—it's beautiful. The breakfast is delicious, and if you have excursions leaving early in the morning, just let them know so they can prepare a light breakfast for you before your departure. The center is within walking distance, and if you need supplies, there's a grocery store across the street and a supermarket a two-minute drive away.
