The property is very clean and cozy, it’s a home stay and the owner is very very sweet lady, who perfectly speaks English. She also very kindly helped me a lot it’s my route and knowledge about surroundings, where to go and what to visit - this is the best part for me since I prefer to ask locals about some small hints during my travel. I stayed there for two nights and I was totally satisfied with everything. Even dough the location of hotel is little bit far from the entry of a park, there isn’t a problem - you can always take a didi taxi with will take around 5-6 minutes to the city centre. Also, Rebecca was super kind to drop me to the centre twice. Highly recommend this place to stay, all the best to the beautiful family running this small business 🫰🏻

Rebecca was the perfect host! she booked our tickets for us for the attractions, and even gave us a lift into town. she was very knowledgable and we loved learning from her. Breakfast was excellent! the property was very clean, beds comfortable, and location was perfect for access to the main Zhangjiajie forest park attractions and Grand Canyon.

I strongly recommend “Mr. Wally” and “Wally House”! From the moment I arrived, Mr. Wally proved to be an exceptionally kind, honest, and helpful host who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. His excellent English was a huge advantage, making communication effortless—this alone might be one of the top reasons for native English speakers to choose his place. He was always accommodating, flexible with changes, and genuinely cared about his guests' needs. The location is another major plus—close to many scenic spots and hotspots in Zhangjiajie, including the Wulingyuan entrance to the National Forest Park, Tianzi Mountain, and the stunning Avatar Mountain. This made exploring the area incredibly convenient. If you're looking for a welcoming, well-located, and hassle-free home stay in Zhangjiajie, “Wally House” is the perfect choice. The Nvue Resort was the best choice for our stay at the Zhangjiajie National Park. Ming and his colleague were so awesome!!!! I never experienced and employee that is so engaged and is providing such a good service. We wanted to find a hotel in a natural setting, away from the noisy tourist area but still close to the park entrance. This hotel is only 10 min from the Middle entrance so after we booked the room, the manager, Ming, messaged us to arrange to pick us up at this entrance. As English speaking travelers, it can be difficult to travel to remote locations so this was quite convenient for us. The hotel is located just a 5 minute walk from one of the other entrances which made it easy to visit the park. We loved the quiet location, close to a small village where we could watch the farmers harvest their crops. Many staff members spoke excellent English and each one of them worked hard to make sure our needs were met. They can help you book the tickets for attractions and arrange transportations to give you a easy and smooth trip. They also so patient to help you arrange tour plan according to your time,so sweet. The hotel restaurant had a good variety of menu options which were delicious and plentiful,We really enjoy the coffee here and bread and fruit, omelte and so on. I want to thank Ming, for making our stay with you so enjoyable!

The staff were very nice. Breakfast was very good. Location great for getting food nearby. Use of a washer and dryer also very helpful.

Zhangjiajie Wangyi Inn is only a 20-minute drive from Zhangjiajie Airport. Free WiFi access is available in all rooms.

Yu Yajun and Huang News (speaks English) are great people . They helped me in any way possible. Yajun came to pick me up at the train station, and he showed me around. I stayed for 3 days and they helped me to plan everything. They have all the maps, and they will explain where to go. I am a disable person. They were very friendly and patient, giving me everything I needed. The hotel is in one of the main streets , full of restaurants , street food and markets From the hotel is 3 min walking to the Tienmen's cable car entrance and as well as very close to bus stops. The room is clean and well equipped with everything.

张家界星河清梦民俗客栈 is a recently renovated guest house in Zhangjiajie near Zixia Taoist Temple. The air-conditioned accommodations are 13 miles from Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

It’s located just inside the west gate of the park, which means that in addition to it being very beautiful and convenient, it also allows those who stay to travel through the park in a direction opposite most other park visitors, slashing wait times for attractions. At the end of a long day in Tianmanshan or ZJJ, it was great to come back to a pool and a delicious home cooked meal. Cannot recommend this place enough!
