Kathy, provided us with a variety of snacks, cheeses, fruit and breakfast goodies! She opened her heart and home to us. She gave us advice on transportation. The unit was spacious and having two bathrooms was great!

Lorna was an amazing host. In general, accommodation around Edinburgh is quite expensive so we found this place which was relatively affordable compared to other places and had a high rating. It is a house-turned-b&b, has 3 small rooms and a nice small dining room. Everything was super clean and Lorna was the friendliest host we have ever met. She gives you a small form to fill every night to get your breakfast preferences and time to eat. Her cooking is lovely. Definitely recommend her full Scottish breakfast with Haggis. She cooked the best haggis out of the 3 restaurants we tried. The only downside was that the place is quite far from the city (45 min bus ride - take X27) and there is only one bus that goes there but if you catch it and don't mind the travel time, it is definitely worth a stay.

The location worked perfectly for my travel plans. Delicious breakfast each morning and lovely conversation with the Landlady Elizabeth and fellow guests. Close proximity to a bus stop for an easy access to Edinburgh. Ample parking and WiFi.

Highly recommend staying here! We stayed for our last night in Scotland and it was the perfect farewell experience. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, delicious! I hade the pea risotto with pancetta paired with white wine and I’m drooling just thinking about it. The staff were so friendly and conversations were great! Views from the restaurant and the room were picturesque, especially seeing longboats and swans leisurely swimming in the nearby canal. We didn’t hear any noise from the floor below us or the rooms next to us during our stay, though we were very tired from our day of traveling. The bed was very comfortable, too! I wish it wasn’t raining while we were there so we could have enjoyed their outdoor space, looked like a great place to hang out. We walked around the canal footpath for a bit, very sweet and recommend. The Edinburgh airport is nearby enough that the drive in the morning was quick, but far away enough that there was no airplane noise.
