The family that runs this guesthouse are wonderful people who are incredibly welcoming! They made us a delicious dinner and breakfast and made us feel at home. We even were able to climb their 12th century family tower. The guesthouse is right near the main bridge and is a wonderful place to stay in Ushguli.

I stayed here four years ago and came back as I liked it so much! The welcome from the family is fantastic and little touches like hot drinks/ wine and a snack after a walk were lovely. The meals were varied and delicious. Highly recommended.

Without doubt it was the best food we have encountered during our hike from Mestia to Usghuli. The hosts are really friendly and helpful - although we didn't speak Russian, communication wasn't a problem (in case of need, hostess daughter can speak English). Georgian hospitality at its best! Can only recommend.
