Roberto and Kyriaki have created a magical escape, nestled right into the valley of Aegiali Bay with spectacular views of the mountain range and sea. Each of the villas are lovingly and artistically handcrafted, with a relaxed, luxurious style that makes for a very special holiday experience. Roberto and Kyriaki are incredibly generous and welcoming, with local wine and home made jams, and taking the time to talk to us and share about Aliori Caves and also Amorgos. Roberto also kindly dropped us off at the ferry in the morning of our departure. The villas are an easy 10 minute walk into Aegiali bay, where you can find delicious restaurants, cafes and watch the sun set over the sea. Set in the valley, the walking tracks for fantastic day-hikes are easily accessible from the accommodation. It was a really magical stay and we would love to come back again soon! Thank you so much!! :)

The hotel is within a 10-15 minute walk to the harbor. The entrance to the hotel is quite pleasant, and the presence of books is a significant plus. From the moment we made the reservation, the staff was in constant communication with us regarding our potential needs. Dimitra welcomed us early in the morning when we arrived and handed us our room. The room was spacious, airy, and clean. Having a mosquito net on the balcony was a great advantage. We rented a car through their family business, Evdokia, and received detailed and practical information about getting to the harbor, traffic, and more. (Thanks again, Fani :) ) The restaurant below the hotel looked very inviting. Fani and Marios extended an invitation to their table, and we thoroughly enjoyed their wonderful company. I would like to express my gratitude once again.

very god location - 6-7 min to everything. i liked the bed madress, soft for Greece but not to soft and the pillow. Cleaned the room everyday and Christina was always there for you.

Absolutely loved my stay at The Big Blue! The room was so comfortable and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view overlooking the sea and beach, and the hosts were very responsive and attentive. The property is very peaceful, with many beautiful flowers. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in Amorgos!

Amazing hosts, Dimitri and Yvonne, who were above and beyond hospitable, accommodating, communicative and friendly! Room facilities were great, bed comfortable, and breakfast top notch. We will be back.
