First of all it has a pool! Literally such a rare thing to find in Mataram and especially in this price range. But most of all it's the great service they have to offer. Chris, his wife and team are all such lovely welcoming people. And being an Aussie, me and Chris enjoyed some great chats. Was really great to find another English speaker in somewhere like Mataram - and he really know the place well, along with greater Lombok. Otherwise, the bed and room were super comfortable and the aesthetic of the outside chill/common area is beautiful. Will definitely stay there again next time I'm in town. 😊 He even has cider in the fridge!! ❤️

[Photos are from after our stay, it looked so much better I promise] The homestay was exceptional, set in a secluded area away from main roads and noisy bikes. Everything about this place was awesome - the cuteness of the front patio, to the garden just outside... Even the towels had beautiful flowers set on top of them! All the bells and whistles were available as well - fridge, kettle, free coffee & tea, the cleanest bathroom I've used in all of Indonesia, sliding doors to keep all the cold air from the AC in. I only stayed for a night, but I seriously regretted this, as similarly priced accommodation in another part of Lombok just didn't compare at all. Many thanks to the host!

Really really nice place! Great staff, always smiling! Nice breakfast! A little walk from the main road, but safe. Abdul was a great host! Took me around the neighborhood in his motorbike so I could buy incense and souvenirs. The place is situated in a Hindu neighborhood, and the atmosphere reminded me of Bali. Not much to do in the surroundings, but a great location if you want to go shopping for gifts and souvenirs for the BIG shops nearby

The view from the pool was amazing! In the morning, you can watch the fishing boats go out to their fishing grounds and sail back after they were done. The villa’s location also lends itself to viewing Mt. Agung (if the weather permits), and beautiful sunsets in the evening. The property is very well maintained and contributes to a peaceful setting.

Large rooms very clean staff is exceptional, is little oasis , christos and dewi is the best host ever. People say that the location is far from the city! Is exactly one kilometer from the ampanan ,three kilometers from senggigi. Yes, you need a scooter to get around. the host will provide you tips to do stuff around alone, but also can provide you tours , is partners with authentic lombok tours, number one tour guides in lombok for snorkeling and culture tours , guest rooms have hot water private balcony and all rooms have views to garden and pool, the building is Victorian style painted antique, so don't look for modern designs. I need to make note: it is a must to make the cooking class with garden tours, is life time experience is not accidentally number one one TripAdvisor and Google maps Thank you for your hospitality Dewi
