Clean, warm shower & two blankets given so we were plenty warm! Great place to stay if you are looking to hike Mt. Bromo area without a tour (although the house is ~30 min uphill walk to the main part of town) Menu’s are provided from local restaurants and they will deliver to the Homestay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the homestay. The scenery is incredibly calm, the bed is comfortable, and the snacks are delicious. While there is no TV yet, since the place is quite new, it allowed us to fully relax without the distraction of media. The owner was very friendly and helpful in guiding us to the location. It was a nice escape!

This is the biggest surprise of my Indonesia trip! This place located in a small town near Malang. It runs by a family and Mrs. Mary took 2 of her independent rooms as hotel. There is super nice mountain view and the whole atmosphere is sooo chill. The room is quite big. The host even gave us some passion fruits and papaya grown from their farm. It is not far from Mt. Bromo and Tumpak Sewu - both takes 1.5h to drive there. There are hardly any tourists in this small town and when we were walking to a restaurant, the people were so curious and greeting us friendly, the kids on the street waved to us and say hello. It was such an amazing experience! The sunset of with rice field view in the small town is also really really beautiful. There is also a good and modern restaurant 20 min walk from our stay and it is designed to see the sunset with a big balcony, the food is very nice too
