The couple running the place are really kind, they treated me like family. We ate together, chatted together, they told me all the best onsen and restaurants around the house. They were so kind, it’s hard to describe. The house was cleaned and functional and there are a lot of onsen and restaurants at a walking distance from there. I stayed one more day just to be around those people more. Thank you, Taku and Midori for a nice stay.

I've stayed in several places in Japan and this might be the best one so far. There are all the aminities you'd like to find in a bathroom (including menstrual protections) that I don't even get in proper hostels. There's even a small quiet fan and a wireless charging base for your phone at your bed ! I asked if I could drop off my luggage before the check-in and it was okay. Well located, perfect, definitely recommend.
