The location excellent. It's near Mount Hakodate with restaurants and interesting Meiji era buildings within walking distance. The owners are really sweet people and exceedingly hospitable and helpful. The house is nicely decorated. The rooms and shared facilities were spotlessly clean.

Naoko, our host was very friendly from the start and helped us to arrange the delivery of our luggages directly at the property. The house was ideally located in the city, near the old waterfront warehouses and the ropeway station. All the rooms were beautifully decorated with upcycled furniture, green plants, old wooden doors and even a working record player (including a collection of eclectic records). The kitchen corner was great, with all you need to prepare a good meal with fresh and local ingredients bought from the next-door supermarket . We had even the opportunity to use the barbecue available on one of the terraces for our last evening. We will most definitely rent again this very nice house the next we visit Hakodate :-)

I really like the uniqueness of the place. I booked the room with my own bathroom. The bed was comfy too. Everything was clean and towels were given to me every day. I liked that it was close to the station. I would stay here again when I plan to come back to Hakodate.
