We have stayed at the Guesthouse many times, but this is our first time staying in the smaller quad room. It was a little tight for a family of four, but the loft makes it work and there was still plenty of room for all of us and our luggage.

I liked how there was open spaces and cafe at the bottom of the room. I got to enjoy meaningful conversation with the owners and they were very nice. They are also very excited and proud of their property which is noticeable by the way they renovate and decorate the area.

This was a very charming guesthouse and the hosts were just delightful. We were very impressed with the size of the room (enormous, by Japanese standards). Everything was impeccable.

Great staff! Really considerate and helpful! Interesting location which they will explain. Shared bathroom was easy to use and clean. The parking is tricky but they give you pictures to follow.

I loved that they had a rental bike for 500 yen. I biked all the way out to the Nami statue one day, and all around Kumamoto. They also had an area in the hall that was perfect for reading a book at night.
