1) True Hospitality from Gerald and Valerie. And I mean a genuine effort to get to know each guest and create a great experience for them, not formal hotel politeness. Despite the language barrier we felt at home. 2) Food at dinner! Big size rooms and big size pool. Exactly like the pictures. The cleanliness is exceptional. Good breakfast service. If you ask for ice, they will get ice for you. We got a nice bottle of wine as a welcome gift for celebrating a birthday there. Shared kitchen has coffee machine, microwave, stove, and oven. Basically, everything you need but elevated. It's such a great place to stay. Will visit again next time.

This is a boutique hotel in a quiet gated community. It is very much like a bed-and-breakfast (if you opt for breakfast) with 5 individual bungalows on a very green and tranquil property with a variety of palm trees and a pool. It is an excellent place to just relax or to take day trips from (e.g. Bandia Reserve, Acrobaobab, etc.). The host is very helpful; in person or via gchat with taxi and restaurant recommendations. We took a small dog with us for a small fee. It is walkable, but the town center is 2.2 km away, so finding a driver or taxi is recommended. We really enjoyed the nearby Safari Beach restaurant that has multiple seating areas, beachfront view and seating, pool that is kid and pet friendly.
