A very interesting and unique place a one of a kind experience. It’s a little funky but in a good way it’s not 5star luxury. Every room has an easel and paints or pencil crayons so if like to draw you’ll love it. Every room is unique with antiques and interesting stuff

We had a great stay at Somphoch Garden! My partner and I ended up staying for two weeks, and they let us move into the upstairs room after a few days, which was really nice. Overall, it was an excellent stay. Our hosts were wonderful and helped us with everything we needed -- laundry, organizing a scooter rental, and even helping us arrange a taxi back to Bangkok. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It was great having a balcony in the upstairs room too. There is a restaurant on site. If you're not coming with a car/scooter of your own, just be aware that you may have trouble getting a taxi in that direction from the ferry. The taxis will try to charge you an insane amount because everyone else is typically going to the west side of the island. But once you get there, and once you have a car/scooter to get around, it's a fantastic location. There's a couple little shops and restaurants nearby, and we went on some really fun adventures around the island. The main town on the west side is less than a 20-minute drive too so we often went into town for dinner or to go to the big grocery store during our stay. We loved having stand-up paddle boards to use throughout our visit, and I think the treehouse platform and the swing were some of my favorite things about the place too! Overall, a really great stay.

The place was disgusting.. the linen were USED faded and old.. no net in toilet windows so room full of bugs lizards and mosquitoes… walls full of bugs stains..furniture were like it was picked up from the trash.. table glass sharp as knife and very dangerous.. AC didnt work..it was only 20$ but still awful
