It's was a great little bohemian guest house. The room was cute, and everything worked, including cold AC! I got lucky as there was a festival for something I never quite made out exactly what, but the whole lane was wall to wall food vendors! Traditional musicians played at about 5 different spots. This was a treat! There were local dancers and some kind of awards thing, again my Thai is limited. But it was super cool. I extended my stay for another night of festivities!!! The host was lovely and arranged for my ferry to koh mak. Her coffee shop and restaurant are delightful.

We had a great stay at Somphoch Garden! My partner and I ended up staying for two weeks, and they let us move into the upstairs room after a few days, which was really nice. Overall, it was an excellent stay. Our hosts were wonderful and helped us with everything we needed -- laundry, organizing a scooter rental, and even helping us arrange a taxi back to Bangkok. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It was great having a balcony in the upstairs room too. There is a restaurant on site. If you're not coming with a car/scooter of your own, just be aware that you may have trouble getting a taxi in that direction from the ferry. The taxis will try to charge you an insane amount because everyone else is typically going to the west side of the island. But once you get there, and once you have a car/scooter to get around, it's a fantastic location. There's a couple little shops and restaurants nearby, and we went on some really fun adventures around the island. The main town on the west side is less than a 20-minute drive too so we often went into town for dinner or to go to the big grocery store during our stay. We loved having stand-up paddle boards to use throughout our visit, and I think the treehouse platform and the swing were some of my favorite things about the place too! Overall, a really great stay.

if you are traveling to any of the islands from Trat this is the perfect location for a stay over we would actually have booked two night if we had know it was such a nice place. the host basically welcome you to there house with rooms they rent so it doesn’t feel like a hotel. the decked area looking out to sea is so relaxing peaceful and quiet. they do a basic breakfast on request fruit toast eggs sausages or rotti coffee and tea plentiful you really won’t want to leave. the rooms are all you need for a overnight stay hot shower comfy bed air con tv nice clean room with a fridge. we emailed the hosts prior to arrival and they arranged pick up from Trat airport and ferry tickets for our journey to koh mak. the area of the hotel is so nice and quiet and you have a 7/11 just round the corner and a couple of places to eat locally. in our opinion you’ll not find a better value for money stay before you leave mainland for the islands
