Nice and welcoming host. Good breakfast, different every day. Good location just outside the East Gate of Ichan Kala and walking distance to the train station. Despite being located just behind a functioning mosque, the muezzin will not wake you up at 5 o'clock in the morning, since loud calls for prayer are prohibited in Uzbekistan. No English is spoken, but Google translate together with a few Russian words do the trick.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Khiva, Khiva Khan Hotel is a guest house surrounded by views of the city.

We enjoyed a lot our stay in this fantastic guest house. Great location - near Itchan Kala West Gate and very close to a restaurant. Very good breakfast (we loved the peanuts!). Comfortable room, with refrigerator. We are very thankful to the family, not just because of their hospitality, but also because they were very helpful when we needed to go to the doctor and to buy medicines.

Great location, amazing staff, receptionist offered us self-made wine on the last day before leaving. Clean and cozy rooms, breakfast acceptable. Just be prepared that you need cash to pay for the room.
