This is our very favorite stopover near the O.R. Tambo International Airport. The guesthouse and rooms are well-appointed, the food is varied & delicious, the staff are "over-the-top' friendly & helpful. We always feel at home when we arrive at the guesthouse, and have had nothing but good comments about Sunrock and the staff, from the teams overnighting there before flying up to our training base in Zambia. Shout out to Kelvin & Tonny, the shuttle drivers, for their promptness and helpfulness. What more can we say? Sunrock Guesthouse is definitely great value for your money!

We booked Wild Tree Lodge as a stopover the night before a morning flight, not expecting the luxury, beauty, comfort, spaciousness, immaculate garden, swimming pool and fantastic breakfast that awaited us! very warm welcome, very helpful and friendly staff, close to airport, only 10-15min drive (Uber go ca 5$), delicious breakfast, cozy room, guesthouse has a pool and nice outdoor chilling area, Softdrinks are available all night (soda machine), very quiet and I felt very safe, parking space at the property, late check in was possible but have to be arranged in advance, it’s a matter of cause.

Bottom of Boden enjoys a location in Benoni, 10 miles from Kempton Park Golf Club and 13 miles from Daveyton Golf Club.

Excellent Breakfast, value for money, The host, Selma was friendly and professional, On my trip, this place was the best. I can only say 5 stars to Bottom of Boden! Clean, neat and spacious rooms, even a back up generator during loadshedding.

The owners are sweethearts and professional- respond to questions and requests right away and checked in with me after I arrived. Made sure I was ok. Good communication is needed when u book, cos the gates are opened for first time with app by owner when you first arrive, then keys are available in lockbox. VERY SAFE! Very nice peaceful quiet area even though little bit motorbike noise from highway early morning. Earplugs will solve it. I explored a little and even 10 min away by car you can see difference here and rougher parts of town. I booked for solo the small room off the main house but it had everything from airfryer to heating plate and in winter, major gas heater! And perfect for me 28 hrs in Joburg. Bed 5 stars as good as the best hotel. Bathroom as with rest of the unit, is well designed. Hot water right away. Super super clean. Small garden with dipping pool inviting but I couldn’t use in winter. Will definitely return. Added photo of street to show how nice it was.
