Located in Trujillo, 6 km from Chan Chan Mud City, Hostal Donde Alberto offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This was such an excellent place! The room was bigger and nicer than it looked in the pictures and super comfortable. It’s located a short walk from the plaza de armas and right on the corner for the buses to Chan Chan ruins and the beach. The owner was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make us comfortable and welcome.

Because I had to arrive incredibly early and also leave early in the night, the lady on duty was so kind and offered breakfast that morning when I arrived. She was so kind and helpful in every way from the minute I arrived until I departed. It was a very handy place to stay close to where the Cruz del Sur coaches were leaving from, with links there to Lima, Tumbes, Guayaquil, Chimbote, Chiclayo, etc.

It has an excellent location. Right at the historical center. Despite its location on the main business street, it is surprisingly quiet at night. The building itself is also a beautiful historic building from the republican era. The hotel owner is so nice, giving me all local insider’s tips about the city. He also helped me booking a tour around the archeological sites nearby for no commission fees.

Set close to the beach in Puerto Chicama, La Ola Azul has a terrace and free WiFi. The property is allergy-free and is located two blocks from Playa Puerto Chicama. Great location and such good value for money compared with some of the other hotels in the area. Really clean rooms & good WiFi we had a great stay here with everything we needed.
