The wifi wasn't terrible, but a bit spotty. I like the location - halfway between the 7/11 and the Mon bridge/lake, so it feels like you can walk anywhere. The owners are very hands-off, but said to call him if I needed anything at all. I left my used cups and garbage bin on the porch on morning and it was all cleaned and taken care of when I got home in the evening. Great!

We stayed with Eak and his family for 2 nights and we wish we stayed longer. His place was so incredibly beautiful and peaceful, and he and his family’s hospitality was unmatched. You will absolutely not regret staying here, it was by far our favourite place we stayed in Thailand. It does get warm at night however it was manageable and we still slept fine. Don’t let this turn you off.

It is a 5-minute drive from Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, which houses the historical remains of prisoners who lost their lives during the construction of the Death Railway. Best hotel! The staff was so nice, they helped me with directions, helped me book an excursion, called a taxi for me. The hotel is very peaceful and well located, just next to the river. The room has a TV, mini fridge, AC and is quite spacious. The swimming pool is perfect for the hot weather! There are many food options at the restaurant (Thai and non-Thai). I had a great stay and would come back without hesitation.
