We loved our two nights here. The house is beautiful and has everything for a fantastic stay. So clean, well-designed and decorated. The pool area is amazing, with our own terrace area. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and even moved our washing under cover when it started to rain when we were out. We really wish we could have stayed longer.

This is my perfect house - lovely stone house with beautiful gardens to relax in and some games to play. House has everything you could need and the host is really friendly. My first time using a microwave as an oven so I learnt something as well. We visited so many places locally but the days at Puy du Fou were the most outstanding - well worth a visit.

Lovely, newly renovated accommodation in very pretty grounds. The owner and staff are all delightful and helpful. It's well worth borrowing the boat or kayak to explore the river. The local town of Niort has an excellent market for fresh food and there are several places for day trips, including La Rochelle, the nearly canal network and Futuroscope. The picturesque Gatehouse was comfortable, clean and renovated to a high standard. Although close to the pool it was still quite private since the entrance was on the opposite side of the house. We enjoyed most of our meals at an outdoor table in front of the house under the shade of a large parasol and nearby trees.
