The house was immaculate, comfy beds, a fire, great kitchen with everything you need. Location is ideal and there are great pubs nearby. We didn't use our cares once parked up, just walked everywhere. If anything it was underpriced!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brookside Barn. The directions provided were clear and the contact with the hosts about key collection was excellent. The house itself was really cozy and we immediately felt at home. The bedrooms were large and the beds really comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room was lovely. The shops are a short walk away and there is a really nice kids park just over the road that my daughter loved. Everything we wanted to do in the Peak District was easily accessible from Brookside Barn, we'd definitely like to stay here again. If it's ever available! :-)

We loved the layout of the rooms and the cosy living room gave us the cottage feel and ambiance we were looking for. The kitchen was fully equipped with everythig we needed and it was great to have a dishwasher too! The place was exceptionally clean and tidy and we appreciated the excellent heating duing February. The location was within the lovely village of Bradwell with its supermarket and deli and we made trips to Castleton and Bakewell. I really liked the master bedroom - very spacious and relaxing.
