The Mendes family is so friendly, welcoming and helpful! They are always willing to answer your questions or just chat with you. You can also join Ildo in one of his workout classes during the week. The facilities are sufficient. The location is excellent, within walking distance of everything and I felt safe walking alone in this area. The first half, I stayed with the family and the apartment was a bit small but it had everything you needed. The second half, I moved to the guesthouse because they had a newborn baby. The guesthouse was very nice, however, it did not have a stove to cook on whereas the family home did.

Stayed here a night and really happy with the place. The building has a very unique look, I had the top floor and the view as nice. The room was very clean and things were ultra quiet. They offer an airport pickup for 1,200 CVE which I took advantage of, very convenient and a real nice guy (the airport taxis seem to want 1,500 which is a lot for the 5km distance to Plateau). Coffee is available all day and they also have a bottle of Tropicana Groc de Cana, you can help yourself to a shot...I enjoyed one before bed. Nice touch!

Maria’s place was absolutely wonderful. The room was great, as was the shower, there was free tea and coffee in the kitchen, and Maria was incredibly helpful and kind. The location in Plateau is also fantastic. I will for sure stay here again next time I come to Praia!

Very nice location in plateau. The room has great facilities, hot water and is very clean. Staff was there waiting for us and contacting us on WhatsApp to ensure we would find the place. Good recommendations of restaurants and places around the hotel and to visit in Praia. Very good stay

If you're looking for an affordable room in a peaceful area, I can highly recommend this place. The rooms are just the right size, there is wifi and a kitchen. The beach and a mini market are nearby. The view is absolutely beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want you can also walk to the center of Palmarajo, where there are banks and restaurants. I would stay here again if I would go to Praia again.

We stayed here for two night and another two before leaving. Situated perfectly in the center of Plateau, I can only recommend staying here. The place is clean and spacious with air condioner. The team were hospitable, friendly and helpful - assisting on every request, which made our stay a delight. You will definitely see us again - till next time!
