The guest house has a great location in the village with easy access to restaurants and shop around, the view is also nice! It is close to Bromo volcano so it’s perfect if you want to do the ascension. There was hot water in the showers and the room was cozy with blankets, which is great as it’s quite cold outside. All together I recommend it, good value for money in this area and the staff was friendly!

Beautiful location. Large space. Deddy is an incredible host and his brother who took us on a keep tour up bromo was lovely. His parents are also around and it really adds to the atmosphere. 100% would stay here again.

Clean, warm shower & two blankets given so we were plenty warm! Great place to stay if you are looking to hike Mt. Bromo area without a tour (although the house is ~30 min uphill walk to the main part of town) Menu’s are provided from local restaurants and they will deliver to the Homestay!

    Friendly staff, Angri gave good explanations on how to get to Bromo, which options with motorbikes/jeep, cost. Nice surroundings with houses, gardens, cafe 3min, good restaurant 3min down the road. The homestay itself has a small resto, even if some things are not freshly made, but it is very useful when arriving late or for breakfast. we liked the banana pancakes. Beds were comfortable, one could relax in the sun or shade in front of the house.

    The mother of the man who normally manages this homestay was in charge for us all the time. And she was fantastic! Very kind, very sweet. She didn't speak English but we just managed to communicate via Translator-App.

    In this price range we were happy with this homestay :) Room was big, clean. Very comfortable couches in the hall, hot shower with enough space to hang your clothes etc. Everything was clean enough. Good location.

    Simple and efficient homestay to spend one night in Cemoro Lawang before hiking Bromo. The bed was warm, the bathroom was not the most comfortable but enough for one night. The place was clean to me, its not the prettiest but you don't need that if you just come for Bromo

    Cahyo homestay is well located inside Bromo village that must pay an entrance fee of 250K pp (25 AUD pp), 50K (5 AUD) for vehicles entrance. The property is between the Bromo crater and the King Kong hills. It’s a perfect spot for ppl who want to hike. The room itself is a decent size and in a clean condition given how remote and suburban the area is. Cahyo is a lovely host that has given us good guidelines on how to go about hiking Bomo in the early morning, and had offered hot water for coffee and tea. Would recommend him for hikers.

    The host family was very friendly and helpful. They organized the Bromo Tour for me and everything was perfect. Furthermore the meals in the restaurant of their Homestay are very delicious. I would definitely would come back.

    a simple homestay in a great location! Deddy is very helpful with good suggestion about how to reach bromo and the best sunrise view! he provides also for jeep if you want (we decide to walk). he save us also with transport! very good host!
