The house is comfortable, the host Mrs and Mr Wibowo are very kind and friendly. Located near Candi Sewu . Their warm welcome make you fell at home. One day Mrs Wibowo offer me a ride to the temple nearby.. how nice of her. Will come back again next time.

The real gem here is the staff, rice fields on one side and corn fields on the other side. You can also walk to one of the smaller temples that is close to Prambanan and see it from the hotel. One of the hotel staff drove me out to the Prambanan temple and picked me back up free of charge. I am hoping that more people take the day to stay out in these remote areas and enjoy the local culture.

The room absoluty amazing, with the price and the comfort for the room you cant find no where else. The family runs the bussines are very kind and polite, helpful and trustworthy. If you want to catch the sunrise in Phuntu Situmbuk this hotel is the right place to stya I absolutely come back to stay here if I would visit this area again.

Beautiful hidden gem of Yogyakarta. The owner was very kind and helpful with us. I highly recommend this homestay if you want a personal and unique experience. Just a small note: The homestay is rustico or bohemian style. Don't expect modern facilities as everything here is very vintage. This was not an issue for us.

    This homestay is the best one you can have in Prambanan. Wibowo, the owner, is an amazing person, friendly, helpful and more importantly, he is also a tourist guide than can offer trips (for borobudur, Jomblang and Pindul caves...) and driving services for affordable and very competitive prices. You can also experience the tasty food of Wibowo Wife!I highly recommend this homestay for an original and interesting experience.

    If you want a beautiful and authentic travel experience, stay at Ruma Desa Homestay!! Most tourists visit Prambanan as a day trip from Yogyakarta, but if you stay closeby you can really take your time exploring all of the temples in the area (The property is 700 metres from Candi Prambanan). We had some of the temple complexes completely to ourselves! Prambanan is also a really nice community to spend a few days in and Hany & Wibowo were exceptional hosts who looked after our every need.

    Will absolutely recommend this wonderful Homestay! The family is extremely welcoming and hospitable. Wibowo is open and helpful, he gave us useful advices regarding the sightseeing (he even drew us a map as to how to get to the best spot to see the sunrise). The room is very clean, comfortable and had all the facilities for a comfortable stay. Special thanks for the food — it was so good!

    A real homestay experience where we felt welcomed and well looked after. Wibowo and Heni are great hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the area. Catering our daily experiences around the children’s needs was just next level service.

    Wibowo is a wonderful host. He came to the airport at 7:00 am and he took us to Borobudur temple, batik and silver shop, typical restaurant for lunch, Prambanan Temple and then he suggested to watch the sunset from the splendid Ijo temple.. His wife cooked a typical dinner for us and we slept very well in the room. Very good breakfast too! Thank you very much for this fantastic stay! The homestay is very welcoming

    We had a fantastic time at the homestay. Wibowo and his wife go out of their way to look after you. The place is immaculately clean and the breakfast is yummy. We stayed here for 2 nights so we could get to Prambanan Temple early which was totally worth it - we were there by ourselves and it wasn’t too hot.

    We had a really nice experience in Rumah Desa Homestay. The room is spacious and it had everything you need. The breakfast is also really good and homemade. The location is great because it is located 5min by bicycle from the Homestay (they have 2 bikes). But the best thing is the kindness of our hosts Heny and Wibowo. They are unbelievably kind and will help you however they can !We really recommend this place !

    An authentic homestay where the family was attentive to your needs. I stayed one more night here to explore Prambanan. I am thankful to Widowo, the host, who took me to much-less-known temples in the mountain. This is where I could feel the spiritual atmosphere that could be difficult to feel in the crowded Prambanan Temple. I highly recommend hiring him as a driver to get you to some secret corners in this area.
