At RaDoSri, we liked the fact that you can select your meal from their menu and it is freshly prepared and served to you. The dining area has ample seating adjacent to their well-tended garden with a nice collection of books along with some light ambient music. The rooms are very cosy and it has all the modern amenities that you can expect from a renowned property. They even have international sockets to plug in your electronics which saves you the trouble of carrying adapters for your devices if you are an international traveller. Rani and Sridharan who own the property were on-site during our visit; would recommend you strike up a conversation with them to catch a glimpse into their 3 decades-long career in the airline industry which gives them an eye for detail and hospitality at the property. We know we enjoyed talking to them whenever they were around. We would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone that wants to visit Coonoor and Ooty.

The incredible staff....could not do enough for us. The stunning views and the lovely big room. It's very nicely set up for privacy. Bed very big and comfortable. Also loved being able to sit at the balcony and watch the Nilgiri birds and other wild life. Great spot for trekking, riding a motorcycle around the tea plantations and winding roads . or just chilling. The hosts also make delicious homely local food which you can pre order in the afternoon.

We spent a fantastic weekend with family at the Biosphere homestay. The location and view is amazing in a very quiet enclave. The walk around the property is so much fun, you can see porcupines, bison and more of you are lucky. The home cooked warm food is freshly prepared and yumm. Gautham, the care taker has maintained the property well. The bathrooms and bedsheets are clean. The owner, Padmanabhan is well informed and guides with useful information to amke the most of time while in Coonoor. We had a refreshing and relaxing weekend at the homestay. Ideal location to spend time in a calm, beautiful location.
