I had an incredible stay at this homestay! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the host, who made me feel like family.The house itself is simple, soulful, and full of character—like it grew from the forest floor. My room overlooked a dreamy canopy, where mist curled like ribbon through the trees, and every sound—from the chirp of a hidden bird to the rustle of distant leaves—felt like a secret being shared. The location was peaceful and scenic, yet conveniently close to local attractions and shops. What truly stood out was the hospitality—every little detail was taken care of, and the host even shared some local tips and homemade treats that made my trip extra special.Their warmth, stories, and home-cooked Kerala meals (still dreaming about that chicken curry, Soft Idlis with incredible sambar and Puttu!!!) made me feel

Abin and his mom was very helpful. Right after the booking he contacted me on whatsapp and he arranged all our transportations plans around Munnar etc. Their home is gorgeous. They have a small flower nursery in the garden and forest starts right where garden ends. Room was new clean and spacious. Abin's mom takes care of the food and other daily stuff. She is an excellent cook and she is very kind. Everybody speaks perfect English, so you will have no problems.

Location of this home stay was excellent. The sound of the waterfall which is very near to the property could be heard from the home and was a soothing experience. The place was beautifully maintained. The family was incredibly warm and welcoming. A special thanks to PAVI for accompanying us to the waterfall and also for his guidance on local spots to visit. This property was like an oasis from the hectic pace of the cities we visited beforehand. This beautiful property is designed to make guests feel relaxed and comfortable. Our family room had a sitting area with a fold-out couch and a lovely bedroom. Bonus - the bed faced the balcony offering a view of the mountains. Meals here were delicious and Joe was a big help in helping us get around and offering us ideas for activities during our stay. A special hats off to Joe’s sons. They were a big help as well and always greeted us with a big smile.

George was a very friendly and helpful host, great cook too! He organised a jeep trip to the tea plantation and other sights. The location was perfect. Located right next door to the herb and spice gardens with a very informative guide. Highly recommend.

    We loved our stay at Maliyeckal Homestay, such a peaceful spot. The host family were so kind and helpful and wanted us to enjoy our stay and enjoy Munnar. Breakfast and dinners were great. About 10 minutes walk from the bus stop so easy to get in and out of Munnar once you get the hang of it.
