We had three nights planned in Munnar, booked Soly's Homestay for the first night, and ended up staying longer for the confort of the place (we got a room with beautiful view) and for the AMAZING BREAKFAST prepared by Soly. Abin and his mom was very helpful. Right after the booking he contacted me on whatsapp and he arranged all our transportations plans around Munnar etc. Their home is gorgeous. They have a small flower nursery in the garden and forest starts right where garden ends. Room was new clean and spacious. Abin's mom takes care of the food and other daily stuff. She is an excellent cook and she is very kind. Everybody speaks perfect English, so you will have no problems.

Greet Tea View is one of the best homestays I have ever been to. I had the pleasure of hearing about this place from a close friend of mine who stayed here for a couple of nights. Mr Thomas is a true gentlemen. He made our stay in this property a wonderful time. We enjoyed the lush green mountain view, and we had been traveling for quite some time and we had accumulated a lot of laundry. Mr. Thomas allowed us to wash our clothes and dry them on the roof. He also gave us a lot of help during our stay, for he is truly a generous person. For example, he knew how much I liked to drink coffee at 6 am so he gave me his personal kettle to make as much as I wanted. He also invited us for dinner. His wife is also a wonderful person. Moreover, at the last day he dropped us off at the bus stop and made an effort to help us take the local bus to Kochi

Amazing. We had the warmest welcome from Benny and his family. The room is lovely with a balcony that overlooks beautiful scenery. It’s so picturesque. The food is without doubt the best we have tasted. But it was the warm hospitality and kindness that made this stay perfect. Benny shared his knowledge of the land with us, and Sheeja shared fresh homemade food beyond our expectations. We are traveling around Kerala, but I can’t imagine that we will find anywhere that surpasses Sceva’s Garden. It is near the tea estates and trips can be arranged, but in all honesty our favourite time was sitting on the balcony looking at the view.

We extended our stay here to spend 4 nights….and so glad we did…we needed ‘calm’ and got it!! Joe and his family couldn’t have been more accommodating and engaging. Super nice:) The breakfast was perfect and dinner each night was wonderful…and they catered to my daughter’s dietary requests. The morning mist views from the balcony were beautiful and all necessities were provided in the rooms. Joe helped arrange activities and transportation but we never felt rushed or ‘planned’. It was a perfect end to a crazy busy India itinerary.

The room was super clean, had a fan and an ac with private bathroom and fresh bed sheets. We also had access to an outdoor kitchen that comes with a stove and a dinning table with a beautiful private view on nature. The hosts were very accommodating and responded to all our requests. I used their fridge to store some of our food, they treated us with coconut milk and coconut water. We also got our laundry done for a small fee. The location is private but also very close to the bus stop and rickchaws.

    We loved our stay at Maliyeckal Homestay, such a peaceful spot. The host family were so kind and helpful and wanted us to enjoy our stay and enjoy Munnar. Breakfast and dinners were great. About 10 minutes walk from the bus stop so easy to get in and out of Munnar once you get the hang of it.

    Thomas and his wife were great hosts that care a lot about their homestay and their guest. We also really enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony, the cleanliness of the room and the homemade breakfasts. Thomas also organized some trips and a massage for us, so we were able to experience a lot. Thank you!
