Sunithra and her family are the kindest people you’ll meet. They made sure I am comfortable, cooked breakfast and dinner, and helped me with all the logistics. The room was exceptionally clean, and I loved the patios around the house.

Priyanka was a wonderful host. After arriving from a hot afternoon safari I was greeted with a cold towel and a fresh coconut. The room is large, clean and has a/c. The dinner and breakfast prepared by his wife was delicious. It was great value. Overall a fantastic one night stay. I highly recommended this guest house.

Kethaka Aga might have been the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in during our travels in Sri Lanka. Not only was the room very comfortable, the rest of the house and garden (including garden/pool area) offered some nice places to relax as well. The staff was really nice and catered to all our needs, from doing our laundry till preparing a breakfast package at 4:30 AM to bring to our safari. Highly recommended!

The owners were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The location is right by the lake and the view is fantastic. The place is very well kept with a lot of love and attention to details like beautifully arranged plants. We had dinner and breakfast there, both were absolutely delicious, better than in many restaurants!

Hosts were so friendly and helpful, they helped us book a safari which was also excellent and very good price. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka. Hot water, good AC, very clean, couldn’t be nicer!

Very comfortable stay for the night before our safari. Booked a fan room and the fan was very effective. Very clean room. It is a family run guesthouse and they are all so kind and accommodating. Garden is beautiful, overlooks rice paddies with lots of nature and the garden itself is like a little world to explore. The mother of the family cooks for guests too, ate twice when we stayed here. Chicken pasta was delicious and very reasonably priced with huge portion. The son very kindly got up at 4am to open the gate and see us off for our safari. You can book Safari through the hotel too.

I think this was definitely the best value going around. We contacted Moon light by WhatsApp and they organized a car from Ella for us and we detoured past Diyaluma Falls (well worth it to dip), the accom is excellent, great aircon, hammocks. We ate lunch on arrival, dinner & lunch after the safari at the accom and it was plentiful & delicious. We left for the safari at 4:45 and got back at midday, so it’s enough time to do the half day I think. We saw a leopard running along a branch, elephants and many other animals. We then had a car (also organized by Moon light) ready after lunch to drive us to Aragum Bay. Couldn’t have been more seemless. With the park entry, jeep, meals, accom, and long transfers it still cost less than I saw some day tours advertised at. Highly recommend!

This is a wooden house at the bottom of the garden overlooking open fields. It's a lovely setting. We loved the room, but be aware being wooden it is rustic and sound travels. But still very charming and we loved it. The host was lovely and arranged an amazing safari at a very competitive price. ( Go for the whole day not half day...it's far better value and you see a lot more...it was only in the last ten minutes we saw a leopard, which came and laid down in front of our jeep) Breakfast was fantastic and far more than we could actually eat. Aircon works a treat.

We stayed here one night . It was really nice stayed in Tissa. Very closed the town and very owner is very kind . They arranged the Yala safari tour for us and we saw lot of animals .very good driver and comfortable jeep. Highly recommend
