The host is very warm and welcoming. Beautiful yard and breathtaking mountain view. Cozy and very clean room, fresh and delicious local food and variety of drinks served for dinner. We had a very good breakfast and also got excellent recommendations for our further trip from the host. La Maria is a place to remember and hopefully we will come back some other time!

The hosts are very nice. The yard is beautiful, it has ponds with fishes and lily pads, and also hammocks. Very good breakfast with local products and in house prepared food.

The pension is far away from everything next to a road. Staff is nice. The restaurant is good, breakfast also good. I only stay here because I wanted to travel to the Transalpina next day. Closed private parking.

The location is very nice, there are several things to do for 2-3 or even more nights. The yard of the property has a lot of space and different stuffs to do.

It is exactly as you see it on a booking photos, beautiful house with good size rooms that are clean and comfy. Host is friendly too. For few extra bucks we got very nice breakfast in the morning at exact time that we requested the night before! And the property is conveniently located next to our start point to Transalpine past, so you can hit the road on a motorcycle early in the morning to beat the traffic

The room is very clean and cosy, the place is very quiet, the view from the garden is wonderful and the owners are extraordinary people. They accepted our late arrival time without an issue and they waited for us even though we got there pretty late. Wonderful accomodations, even though we stayed only one night, being in transit to Transalpina, we recommend it for longer stays too.

This was a perfect place for us to stay the evening before driving the Transalpina Road. The property is absolutely beautiful, the owners and their staff are awesome, and our room was extremely comfortable. We had the most delicious dinner and breakfast in their restaurant. We highly recommend as Conacul Bunicilor as a perfect place to stay when in the area.
