The location is excellent as it is just a few steps from Tamsui Station, the riverbanks, shops, and street market. The rooms are spacious, modern, comfortable and very clean. The toilets have bidet. The location is perfect to get immersed into one of the more historic quarters of Taipei. Dihua street is 3 minutes by foot, Ningxia night market is about 5-10 minutes by foot. Ximending can be reached in 10 minutes by foot. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the space itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. 24/7 stores are closeby, so if you need something to drink at night, it is also no problem. Also the area is very well connected to the bus system, so getting around is no prolem at all. I especially recommend just walking north from the hotel until you reach the confucius temple (~45 min.) to get a perfect view of iconic Taipei.
