The area is breathtaking with a view of the valley and the mountains. Alex is an amazing host, he and his wife prepared many special treats to our family, a lot of attention to the details, making us feel very welcomed and making sure we had all we needed. The house is very spacious and cozy, and very nicely decorated (loved all the details that tell the history of this house). A perfect place for a stay in Wengen!

We had the whole ground floor of the house to ourselves, including our own kitchen and outdoor seating area. Home is < 100 feet from the lake front with a lovely public lawn on the water to sit in. Host was incredibly kind and accommodating - she did a load of laundry for us as we were in the middle of a long trip, and offered to pick up groceries we needed from Lidl as the store in town is quite expensive. Lots of pamphlets in the house with information on nearby excursions and other activities.
