Totally amazing place to stay! Highly recommended. First of all, it is only 7 mins walk from the ancient city of pangyao. It is also so nearby the railway station. You can go by DIDI or bus, both are so convenient. Second, the decor of the place is AMAZING! I couldn’t help take pictures and video when i first came it. They even have a swing and glass-fish! The staff are so friendly and nice people. The Owner gave me water when i first came and when i left. Whenever i ask for anything she always helps. They have bar and food there with nice prices. I didn’t eat there but saw the food, it looked so delicious. The rooms were also amazing, it is two levels bed and mine was the one above. Surprisingly, it was so comfortable too. When i move it doesn’t vibrate into the bottom bed. The toilet is clean and they have shower gel, hair shampoo, small towel, and toothbrush with toothpaste ready for you to use. The air conditioner works fine and the wi-fi is connected from my room.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing location, right in the center of ancient town of Pingyao but still very quiet. The room is very beautiful, clean and there is all you need for a comfortable stay. Ji is amazing. I highly recommend a short or longer stay at the Ji Family Courtyard Inn.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. Staff really nice. Cute room and place. In the Ancient City close to the East Gate from were you can enter the walls.

The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is less than 1 km from Nine Dragon Screen. The homestay features family rooms. Everything! The room was very well appointed and clean, I loved the decor being modern and traditional at the same time. A lot of nice touches including a Dyson hair dryer and a very fancy kettle. Not to mention a super cool tiny little frog reading an even tinier book on a swinging chair on a shelf, which was fun! The traditional breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked in front of us! Last but not least the staff were super. Very nice and really helpful. If ever back in Datong we will definitely stay here again!

Set in Pingyao in the Shanxi Region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Xiangshengyuan Hostel features a terrace and views of the city. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free maps of Pingyao is offered. This is a family-run hotel with the whole family pitching in. They were delightful and keen to be helpful with lots of cups of tea, advice and assistance with purchasing tickets. It felt like I was staying with friends. Very little english, but fearless with using translation apps. Very thoughtful - gave me a bottle of water for the train home after dropping me at the station. The standout for this property was the staff. I wish them every success with their business.

Datong Yunzhong Traditional Courtyard is located in Datong Ancient Town, a 5-minute walk from Huayan temple and Nine Dragon Wall. It is a quadrangle courtyard Inn with traditional decoration. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Our family did have good time while staying at the hotel. We will come back if we visit Datong again.

The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. This is a superb old guest house within the city walls, has a traditional and very comfortable room and a very nice courtyard. Everything in the room worked perfectly. Our host was very helpful in all respects and was able to sort out an additional night when our train was cancelled. It is located 10 mins from the north gate and 10 mins from all the ancient city attractions. Highly recommended and great value.
