The hostess is incredibly friendly and speaks excellent English, which made communication super smooth and welcoming. She shared lovely stories behind the decor and even gave me great local tips for exploring the lake and nearby cafés. The room was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with little touches that show real care and personality. Waking up to soft music and birdsong, then having tea on the balcony with a view of the lake, was unforgettable.

The rooms are impeccable- not only are they very clean but I really enjoyed the layout. Everything has its place and they feel quite spacious. The host is amazing! She’s very kind and helpful. The breakfast which is freshly prepare by her and her friends each morning is the cherry on top :)

The coffee/black tea is great, I highly recommend it

The property is located near botanical garden and at the end of the main restaurants/hotels area. During the night it was quiet. The garden is lovely specially in spring while fruits are ripen and trees are freshly green. I spent much time there listening to fish and the nine year old turtle. My room is small as I was solo. I have also used the Japanese room for my yoga. They serve nice quality tea and it’s part of the experience to be in the tea capital of south China. I plan to stay there again in my future visit.

Coffee was great!! And the best of all was the service and help from the family who owned it. They are so helpful
